TreesDurham would like to give a huge shoutout to everyone who came out to our Community Engagement event at Cherry Grove Park in East Durham on Saturday, October 16, 2021.
While this was meant to be a time for TreesDurham to connect with the community, volunteers came out ready to work! So that's just what we did. We had a successful Clean-Up Event with the community right by our side! We are now more prepared for the planting that will take place Saturday, November 6, 2021 at 9:00 A.M. On top of planting 10-12 trees, we will be cleaning up the park and helping to fix site furniture and playground equipment!
